Prince George County's OpenGov Portal
Prince George County's OpenGov Portal
On October 13, 2015 the Board of Supervisors approved the implementation of our new financial transparency module, OpenGov. OpenGov allow citizens to view county transactions, budgets, and a checkbook report in a concise and visually appealing manner. We believe this initiative will improve financial transparency and strengthen relationships with constituents.
By using the OpenGov portal, residents and staff have around the clock access to the County’s budget and actual expenditures. Explore the site to get a better feel for this platform. For added context and descriptions of the County’s departments and programs, please refer to the online Budget documents along with many other resources available on our web-site. http://www.princegeorgeva.org/departments/finance_department/docs_and_reports.php.
The site provides you with the opportunity to view, filter and analyze revenue and expense data for Prince George County. This data can be seen in a graphic or a numeric format. The site allows you to download data to MS Excel for further review / analysis.
Currently, detailed information is only available for County operations. Detailed School expenditure information is not yet available.
