Prince George, VA -- Prince George County launches its OpenGov Transparency Module

image of pie chartPrince George County is proud to announce the launch of OpenGov - a financial transparency module that allows citizens to view county financial transactions, budgets, and a checkbook report in a concise and visually appealing manner. We believe this initiative will improve financial transparency and strengthen relationships with constituents.

image of bar chartBy using the OpenGov portal, residents and staff have around the clock access to the County’s budget and actual expenditures. The site provides you with the opportunity to view, filter and analyze revenue and expense data for Prince George County. This data can be seen in a graphic or a numeric format. The site allows you to download data to MS Excel for further review / analysis.

The OpenGov portal, related help guide and featured reports can be accessed on the County’s main web-page at http://www.princegeorgecountyva.gov/. Click on the “OpenGov Financial Transparency Portal” button on the right side of the webpage.
