Three Arrested in Ring of Thefts from Motor Vehicles

(Prince George, VA) – Three Arrested in Ring of Thefts from Motor Vehicles

In the early morning hours of August 1st police were called to the Birchett Estates subdivision for a report of individuals breaking into cars. Officers came into contact with three adult males who were questioned regarding the report. Based off the information received, the three were transported to police headquarters to continue the investigation.

The investigation revealed Khaleil Albright age 19, Tyler Stevenson age 18, and Deshawn Nichols-Brown age 20, all of Prince George, were involved in stealing property out of unlocked vehicles. Currently, police are able to link these three to over 35 larcenies that have occurred over the past six months in over 10 county subdivisions. Additionally the three were linked to larcenies from vehicles in the city of Colonial Heights and Ft. Lee.

On August 1st, Albright, Stevenson, and Nichols-Brown were transported to Riverside Regional Jail and charged with one count of grand larceny, conspiracy, and tampering with a vehicle. They were released on a personal recognizance bond. Police anticipate additional charges are forthcoming once their investigation is completed.
