Road will be closed between Laurel Spring Road and Pole Run Road
Prince George Drive/Route 156 (Prince George) – The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will close Prince George Drive (Route 156) between Laurel Spring Road (Rt. 616) and Pole Run Road (Route 616) starting on Monday, April 10 for a pipe installation project. Weather permitting, drivers can expect the work to be complete on Wednesday, April 12.
Drivers should follow the posted detour routes:
• Northbound Prince George Dr. (Rt. 156) - Take County Dr. (Rt. 460) west to Courthouse Rd. (Rt. 106) north back to Prince George Dr. (Rt. 156).
• Southbound Prince George Dr. (Rt. 156) - Take Courthouse Rd. (Rt. 106) south to County Dr. (Rt. 460) east back to Prince George Dr. (Rt. 156).
