Rest area at mile marker 37 on I-95 north (Prince George) – The Carson Safety Rest Area, located at mile marker 37, will be closed temporarily on Monday, August 7 between 7 p.m.-11 a.m. for paving work in the acceleration lane from the rest area to I-95 north. All work is weather dependent.
Drivers who wish to stop along I-95 north can use the rest areas located at mile marker 1 (Skippers Welcome Center at the state line) and mile marker 104, located in Caroline County (Ladysmith).
