Terminating Water/Wastewater & Nonpayment Disconnection


A signature is required to terminate your water/wastewater service.  The best option is terminate your service in person.  Please fill out the form below and bring it with you to the Utilities Department.  In some cases, faxed copies of the form will be accepted.  Please contact the Utilities Department at the number below if you have any questions.

The County requires a minimum of 72 hours to terminate an account.

IF SERVICE IS TERMINATED DUE TO NONPAY

To have service restored, all past due balances and a $50.00 reconnection fee must be received in the Treasurer's Office or through the County website. Payment methods accepted are cash, credit, debit, money order, or online with a valid account through the County website, www.princegeorgecountyva.gov. Do not use Official Payments for reconnection payments. No checks are accepted for service restoral.
Customers requesting service restoral must notify the Utilities Office at 804-722-8706 for payment verification. Payments received after 3:00pm will have service restored by the Utility Technician the following business day during the hours of 8:30am-4:00pm.
Meter tampering fee is $50 per offense.
