Virginia Department of Environmental Quality Issues Public Notice for Input for the Gateway Inn

The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) has issued a public notice seeking public input on a permit for private sewer discharge at the Gateway Inn, located at Exit 41 off of I-95.

This is a reissuance of a permit. The facility proposes to continue the release of treated sewage into Jones Hole Swamp in Prince George County in the Chowan River and Dismal Swamp watershed.
