(Prince George, VA) – Shooting into Occupied Dwelling – Arrest Made

On April 11, 2023, at approximately 10:30 a.m., Prince George County police officers responded to the 4200 block of Anne Terrace in reference to “shots being fired”. Officers discovered bullet holes in two apartment doors and within an apartment complex breezeway.

Prince George County Police detectives immediately began investigating the incident. The detectives identified a juvenile suspect involved in the shooting. Upon obtaining a search warrant, petitions, and a detention order, detectives arrested a 16-year-old resident. There were no reported injuries resulting from this incident.

The charges are as follows:
VA 18.2-56.1 Reckless handling of firearms
VA 18.2-308.7 Possession or transportation of firearms by persons under the age of 18
VA 18.2-279 Shooting into Occupied Dwelling
