September 26 Meeting Recap

Board of Supervisors Going Live with BoardDocs on October 24

At its September 26, 2023 meeting, the Prince George County Board of Supervisors was trained to use BoardDocs, a comprehensive eGovernance tool for paperless board meeting management.  BoardDocs web applications streamline the processes used to manage board packets, access information and conduct meetings.  After including BoardDocs in its budget, the County signed a contract with Diligent, Inc. in July just after the new fiscal year.  Diligent is a software service company that enables board members of corporations, government organizations, and not-for-profit groups to share and collaborate information for board meetings.  BoardDocs was chosen by the County for the ease of its citizens as it is the same software used by the Prince George County School Board.  The County plans to go live with the platform at its October 24 meeting.
