Launching the Advanced GIS Sales Search Tool on November 28

Prince George, VA - Prince George County is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of an innovative GIS sales search tool on November 28, 2023. The tool will empower residents with easy access to accurate sales data for our locality. Developed in-house, it represents a collaborative effort between our GIS and Information Technology Department and the Real Estate Assessor’s office.

Prince George County decided to remove the link to Vision, a third-party vendor that provides computer-assisted mass appraisal software, from our website due to numerous inaccuracies and unresolved errors. This internal solution not only ensures data integrity but also delivers cost savings to our taxpayers.

Over the next few months, we will continue refining the software to provide our residents with a seamless experience when accessing property information.
