Police Investigating Fatal Crash

(Prince George, VA) – Police Investigating Fatal Crash

On January 15, 2024, at approximately 6:27 P.M., a single-vehicle crash occurred in the 14500 block of South Crater Road. A 2001, Honda, 4-door sedan crossed the centerline, veered off the road to the left, and collided with a tree. The vehicle was subsequently observed engulfed in fire. The driver, who was the lone occupant of the vehicle, was declared deceased at the scene. The driver's identity is being confirmed through the Medical Examiner's Office.

Our team of investigators is currently working to determine the cause and circumstances of the crash; speed is believed to be a contributing factor.
