(Prince George, VA) – Police Investigating Fatal Crash

On January 25, 2024, at approximately 3:36 P.M., members of the Prince George County Police Department were dispatched to a vehicle crash in the 5700 block of Oaklawn Boulevard.  Officers determined that a 2021 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle collided with a 1998 Ford Explorer.  The motorcycle's driver was identified as Terry Bell Jr., a 45-year-old male from Dinwiddie County.  Mr. Bell was transported to the Prince George Emergency Room where he succumbed to his injuries.  The occupants of the Explorer were treated and released on scene.

The crash is still under investigation; the preliminary findings indicate that the motorcycle disregarded the red light at the intersection, colliding with the Explorer.  Speed is also believed to be a contributing factor in this crash.
