Exhibit opens Saturday with reception and chance to meet the artist from noon to 2 p.m.

HOPEWELL — The Appomattox Regional Library System (ARLS) invites the public to enjoy the art of Nicole Judge, a Prince George native, with her exhibit “Tiger Dreams, Inner Landscape.”
The art is a journey through dreams and feelings translated into charcoal drawings by the artist. This exhibit will begin at the Prince George Library on Saturday, May 20, with a gallery opening, light refreshments, and a chance to meet the artist from 12 to 2 p.m. The display will continue through June 30.
Nicole was born and raised in Prince George County, graduating from Prince George High School in 2015. While always artistically inclined, she did not exclusively pursue visual arts. In high school, she was involved in theatre and creative writing, but always had a passion for drawing. In 2015, Nicole was accepted into the George Mason University School of Art, where she continues to develop her art.
Nicole has aspirations to work as a graphic artist but also pursue her creative writing and drawing. She offers this advice to aspiring artists, “I would say to hold onto your dreams. No one starts out an amazing artist, so allow your art and styles to develop and become something great. Your work will surprise you with the outcome.”
